Every body type, carry position, carry style, and pistol configuration is potentially different. Many users prefer to optimize their carry by choosing a claw that may better suit their needs for their preferred carry style.
As a result, Werkz is offering 3 different claw options for M6 holsters.
1: Squared, Original Claw. This option is for those who want the highest degree of concealability and least amount of holster movement. The aggressive claw corners engage with the pant, helping reduce rotational, lateral, and vertical movement, and the full size helps rotate the pistol grip into the body.
2: Rounded claw. As of August 2022, this is our new standard claw shipping on all M6 holsters. This claw has an increased degree of comfort due to its rounded shape. Users find it easier to put on and more comfortable. The height is about the same as Claw 1, and rotates the pistol into the body almost as much as Claw 1.
3: Rounded low claw. This claw helps those who need a less aggressive claw, such as on the hip, or AIWB carry where the user is less worried about grip printing. The shorter height means it engages less of the belt when carried straight drop, and it means that there is less chance of the claw riding up above the belt when carrying with a forward cant.
These claws are all injection molded here in Idaho USA using USA sourced resins.
