This is the new standard belt slide for all standard M7 Holsters. (The Velox Signature series M7 holsters get a unique Belt Slide for mounting to the BladeTech Tek-Mount.)
The belt slide comes ready for use on 1.5" Gun Belts. There are tabs in the belt loops that can be cut off to permanently convert it for use with 1.75" gun belts.
Important Notes: Werkz is not responsible for cuts made on your belt slide. If you remove the tabs, then later decide to switch to a 1.5" gun belt, that is on you. The belt slide should still work with a smaller belt but it may have more movement on the draw. Additionally: Use best practices when cutting the tabs! Use a sharp blade and cut away from anything that you don't intend to cut (i.e. your flesh, cloths, furniture, etc.).
Extra Strength: A third layer was added to the belt slide's construction, to add further reinforcement with the pre-curved design. The third layer was also designed to reduce the potential for hot spots from the screws, when holster is worn on the hip.
Mounting the Werkz Belt Slide: Like the previous Belt Slide, this version has a Safariland 3-Pattern for mounting to any holster that has this hole pattern. One hole is the anchor for mounting the belt; the other two are slotted for adjusting the holster cant angle!
An additionally hole was added for mounting the belt slide to a BladeTech Tek-Mount Receiver. Make sure that holster has a the ability to mount a BladeTech Tek-Mount Disc before investing in a Tek-Mount. Old Werkz M7 Holsters may not have this hole and will require the Safariland Adapter Tek-Mount Disc.
Built in Cant Adjustment & Retro-Compatibility
By loosen the 3 screws that attach the belt slide to the holster, you can change the cant angle of the holster on your belt. On the belt, one screw will go through a hole that serves as an anchoring point. The other two screws go through slotted portions that allow for the cant adjustments. Once you have the desired angle hold the belt slide in place while you tighten the screws down.
Note: The mounting screws have anti-rotation teeth that will "bite" into your belt slide when properly tightened down. This will cause minor blemishes and de-lamination to the belt slide's material. In all of our testing (and customer feedback) this has only caused cosmetic damage to the belt slide.
Old Werkz M7 holsters are built with the FBI positive 5° cant angle built into the holster design itself. The Old Werkz M7 holsters only have the Safariland 3-Hole Pattern, thus they cannot utilize the middle slot on the belt slide. (This style of holster mounting will slowly be phased out.)

New Werkz M7 holsters are built with a 0° cant angle built into the holster design itself. The holster has the Safariland 3-Hole Pattern with an extra hole for the BladeTech Tek-Mount.

Original (Defunct) Werkz M7 holsters were also built with the FBI positive 5° cant angle built into the holster design itself. The Original Werkz M7 holsters had the Safariland 3-Hole Pattern with the BladeTech Tek-Lok Hole Pattern. This is a discontinued design (thus there are no images for it), however this belt slide is retro-compatible with Original Werkz M7 holsters.
Designed to Work with Safariland® QLS or BladeTech Tek-Mount® (sold separately)
Designed to mount to the Safariland QLS. The QLS Receiver mounts to the belt slide, while the QLS Fork mounts to the holster. (The Fork has it's own ability to adjust cant independent from the belt slide.)
