Modular Comfort
Every body type, carry position, carry style, and pistol configuration is potentially different. Many users prefer to optimize their carry by choosing a bump that may better suit their needs for their preferred carry style. Each silicone bump allows for placement adjustment on the Bisect holster to further customize it to the user's preferences. These bumps are made to be firm, but still provide enough softness to reduce hotspots. And, each bump utilizes our patent pending Potlatch screw for better ease of use.
The Potlatch Screws are made with stainless steel to reduce the chances of rusting.
As a result, Werkz is offering multiple bump options for Bisect holsters.
Bisect Style
NON-Light Bearing Bisect: These bumps are more narrow and meant to only cover the slide and frame portion of the holster. Perfect for the more compact nature of the Non-Light Bearing Bisect Holsters. However, they are insignificant to cover a Light Bearing Bisect holster.
Light Bearing Bisect: These bumps are wider to give additional coverage over the light portion of the holster, while still covering the slide and frame. Covers the full range of Werkz Light Bearing Bisects from compact lights like the Streamlight TLR-7 sub to the fullsize lights like the Surefire x300. Can work on a Non-Light Bearing Bisect Holster, especially with a taller slide and frame.
Bump Size
10mm: Short, minimum height: This bump is for those that find to standard bump too large for their carry style, but still want the advantages of having a piece of soft silicone between their body and the holster. Great for people running the Bisect 2.0 holster outside of the appendix carry position. Note: When properly mounted the top screw will be recessed approximately 1 to 1.5mm, so it should not contact your body.
15mm: Standard (Respective Bisect Holsters will already have this mount): As of the launch of the Bisect 2.0, this is our standard bump shipping on all Bisect holsters. This bump provides an increased degree of comfort due to it being made out of a soft silicone material, opposed to integrated "hard" bumps.
22.5mm: Tall, maximum height. This option is for those who want the highest degree of pistol grip concealability and least amount of holster movement. The tall bump provides the most standoff from holster to the body. This allows for more leverage to be applied against to Bisect claw, thus pulling the pistol's grip tighter to the body.
Shooting Hand
Right or Left: This is designed to match the Shooting Hand of your Werkz Bisect. Each Shooting Hand version has unique geometry to give the maximum comfort and support to their respective Werkz Bisect Holster.
Adjustable and Customizable
Bisect Slot:
[Left: Light Bearing Bisect without bump; Right: Light Bearing Bisect, Bump, and hardware]
All Werkz Bisect Holsters (Light-Bearing *and* NON-Light Bearing) have a slot on the back of the holster for mounting and adjusting the bump. The bump can be completely removed and the holster can be run without a bump... at the obvious loose of comfort.
Bump Height Adjustment:
[Left: Bump at highest position; Middle: Bump at middle position; Right: Bump at lowest position]
The slot is designed to work with our patent pending Potlatch Screws to allow you to loosen the screws and adjust the height of the bump. This allows for quick adjustments without having to remove any hardware!
Important Note: Werkz does not cover any damage when bump is modified and/or used improperly. This includes any potential damage the may occur with an overhanging bump mounted in a low configuration:

Replaceable
While we currently don't have full line of support, our Bisect's bump can be changed for a different size and style. Bumps are designed to match the shooting hand and style of the Bisect holster that they are going to mount to. NON-Light Bearing (NLB) Bumps are meant to go on NLB Bisect holsters, while Light-Bearing (LB) Bumps are meant to go on LB Bisect holsters. And, right with right, while left with left.
NLB Bumps:
[Left: 22.5mm NLB Bump; Middle: 15mm NLB Bump; Right: 10mm NLB Bump]
The Right-Handed NLB Bisect holsters have the largest range of offerings. That holster will ship with the 15mm NLB Bump, but it can be swapped for a taller or shorter bump.
LB Bumps:
[Left: 15mm LB Bump; Right: 10mm LB Bump]
The Right-Handed LB Bisect holsters ship with the 15mm Bump, but a shorter 10mm Bump can be ordered separately!
Mix and Match:
[Mounting NLB Bumps on LB Holsters- Left: 22.5mm NLB Bump; Middle: 15mm NLB Bump; Right: 10mm NLB Bump]
The NLB Bumps can be mounted on a LB Bisect holster. Note: The light portion of the LB Bisect won't be covered. This can lead to a hotspot when wearing the holster in such a configuration!
[Left: 15mm LB Bump on NLB Holster from the back; Right: 15mm LB Bump on NLB Holster from the front]
The LB Bumps can be mounted on a NLB Bisect holster. Note: LB Bump will overhang off of the side of a NLB Bisect holster. The some overhang note from above applies to running this configuration!

Structured Support
NLB Bumps:
[NLB Bumps from the underside- Left: 22.5mm NLB Bump; Middle: 15mm NLB Bump; Right: 10mm NLB Bump]
Both the NLB and LB Bumps are made out of a soft silicone to give a degree of compression, thus improved comfort.
The underside has support ribs to engage with your Bisect holster, this:
- Improves the structural stability of the bump
- Gives the bump some flexibility to fit a wide range of Bisect holsters
- Allows for a weight reduction versus a solid chuck of silicone or rubber
- Provides a built-in crush washer to help lock your screw in place
LB Bumps:
[LB Bumps from the underside- Left: 15mm LB Bump; Right: 10mm LB Bump]
Dirt, dust, and debris may find there way into the underside of your bump. When cleaning your holster, this may be an important area to check and clean.
Cleaning
[Left: Sample of a dirty LB Bump; Right: The same bump after cleaning]
Important Note: Always make sure that your pistol is safely removed from the holster and secure before cleaning.
The nature of the Bisect Bumps being made out of a soft silicone means that they have tendency to collect dust, dirt, debris, and oils.
•For dust, dirt, and debris a simple washing with warm water and a mild dish soap, should be more than enough to clean it. This can be done while the bump is still attached to the holster, however make sure that the bump is fully dried; this includes the ridges in the back of the bump!
•Silicone is known for being hydrophobic, but oil absorbent. If the bump beings to absorb oils it will require additional cleaning measures. Remove the bump from the holster and submerge it in boiling water for 10-15minutes the release the oil from it. (This is the same process as silicone kitchen utensils.) Allow your bump to fully cool off and dry before attempting to mount it back to your holster. Never put your holsters into boiling water!
*Not every configuration has support and they may not have support in the future. If your desired configuration is currently unavailable, please contact us at [email protected]
*Installation Tool Required: Phillips Head Screwdriver
