Are you having trouble finding a holster for your gun and light?
- Most violent encounters happen in partial or no-light situations. It's critically important that you can identify and control a threat in a dark parking lot, or your own home.
- But there are not many secure and reliable holsters for pistols with lights. This leaves shooters needing to make compromises on how and what they carry.
- Most holster companies don't focus on light-bearing holsters at all, simply because building a perfectly fitted holster for a pistol with a light is hard to do and has a huge amount of R&D costs.
- The majority of the options that are available fall into three categories.
- Generic. But it won't provide the proper retention, the right comfort, and it doesn't locate well on your body.
- One-size-fits-many lights. These may or may not provide a solid retention click-in. They are bulkier with extra material not needed for your exact carry combo. It might not have the features you want - such as support for an optic, suppressor-height sights, or a threaded barrel.
- Custom Holster. A better option than the two above, but you're overwhelmed with options, and then you have to wait several weeks to see if the holster will work for you.
- So, you're left to decide if you want to leave your light at home or make compromises on what or how you carry.
- We believe you can (and should) be ready to defend yourself day and night. This means safely and comfortably carrying your pistol and light. This led us to focus on designing and building better light-bearing holsters.
